CONCHA

PRESENTED BY THE CITY LIGHTHOUSE THEATRE COMPANY
Concha is a semi-autobiographical show that explores the intersectionality of the queer experience from the perspective of a non-binary Latinx person.

“What happens when you find out you have chlamydia, and you don’t know who gave it to you?”

A one-person semi-autobiographical play exploring the intersectionality within the queer experience.

Follow Concha on their series of misadventures that take them through past and current relationships, queer sex, race, self-love and the importance of using condoms.

Concha is a comedy play that has a little bit of drama and a lot of queer joy. Using monologues, voice-overs, music, and video projections this semi-autobiographical show explores the intersectionality of the queer experience from the perspective of a Latinx non-binary person.

Founded in 2020 by Manisha Sondhi, City Lighthouse Theatre Company is a new company whose mission is to produce new writing that focuses on historically marginalised and erased voices, such as people of colour and the LGBTQ+ community.
