Spring Offensive

Tue 18 - Sun 30 Apr | Tue - Sat 7.30pm| Sunday 4pm

Expat April runs a quality establishment on the site of some of the bloodiest battles of the First World War. Death surrounds it. And sheep, lots of sheep.

There’s dinner to be served and history to pay tribute to. The guests are coming, the sheep are closing in. The table is set for an evening they’ll all remember.

Victoria Willing’s new play is a dark comedy about war, lost boys and fighting for survival.

Bookish

Five mini shows each inspired by a book of your choosing. Each show is a blend of comedy, live original music, a quiz, and stories. Hear tales of taxidermy, learn more about Torville and Dean, find out about stately home ghosts, be reminded of how much cucumber was involved in 1980s cookery or hear a kazoo rendition of a classic eighties ballad! Bookish is a brand new comedy project from performers and comedians Laura Mugridge and Tom Adams.

Circled in the Radio Times

John Osborne tells a beautiful, funny story about how finding a collection of old copies of The Radio Times leads to him piecing together the life of his father, someone he barely knew, and looks at the changing nature of the way all of us watch television.
