Bright Sparks

Link and Rex are Like light and dark, left and right. Watch these two opposites get their wires crossed as they strive to find ways to work and play together.

Inspired by research into the human brain, Bright Sparks is a playful, visually rich and delightfully humorous show that explores the beauty of difference.

Research into Bright Sparks began at the egg’s 2015 Incubator. The piece looks at the left and right sides of the brain and attempts to debunk the popular and limiting myth that people are either simply ‘logical’ OR ‘creative’. In this wordless production we aim to demonstrate that the human brain actually needs both sides to function together without one dominating the other.

A Strange New Space

A non-verbal one woman show lasting roughly 50 minutes for 3 – 7 year olds and their families. It’ll contain physical theatre, beautiful hand-made puppets and original music by Matt Huxley.
