Saxophonist extraordinaire Will Gibson draws from a number of different genres, with his clearest inspiration deriving from jazz, funk and classical styles. Join us on the first date of his continuing 2017 UK tour, where he will be joined by a first class entourage of musicians from his debut album Facets.

Will Gibson is a London-based saxophonist, clarinettist & composer. He began clarinet, piano & writing music at an early age. He later attended Trinity College of Music where he obtained a BMus (Hons) in performance. Here he studied with Mark Lockheart, Julian Siegel, Michael Whight, Fiona Cross & Andrew Poppy. Since graduating Will has performed extensively throughout the U.K. & Europe in various bands & projects.

Notably, Will has worked alongside Hamish Stuart, Mark Lockheart, Clark Tracey, Julian Siegel, Robin Eubanks, Guy Barker, Laurence Cottle and Nathaniel Facey to name a few. He has also played with the BBC Concert Orchestra, the London Jazz Orchestra, the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra & the Young Musician’s Symphony Orchestra. He has performed his own music on BBC Radio 3, & has appeared with various ensembles on BBC 1, BBC 4, ITV & Channel 4. He also deputises on various shows in London’s West End.
