STORYSTOCK, the travelling story circus of stories, is returning to the wonderful Omnibus Theatre in Clapham over the Easter holidays for another 3 day festival celebrating children’s books.
Monday 3rd – Wednesday 5th April.
The theatre will be buzzing with stories, drama and creative writing workshops. Everyone’s favourite patchwork elephant Elmer will be on stage and off with lots of opportunity to colour as many pictures of him as possible. There will be hourly storytelling for tinies, Mr Benn and a marvellous dressing up box to explore. A medley of favourite Grimm’s Fairy Tales will be brought to life and The Myth Marathon’s whistlestop re-telling of all the Greek Myths you can think of is always a hit. The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe Drama workshops gives wannabe actors a chance to take their own journey to Narnia and keep a look out for pop-up author readings and signings. There will be more being announced and we are thrilled to have author/illustrator Will Mabbitt talking all about WORMS to kick off proceedings on Monday at 10am. Also Once Upon A Yoga Mat for parents and children and a creative writing pot of wonders with Storystew. World Book Day Author Maz Evans will also be in the house with her new book Who Let The Gods Out? It’s going to be a riot! Come and join the fun.www.storystock.co.uk
