Hester’s work ranges from devising ensemble spectacles for festivals (Bee Conscious, LeeFest, The Stretch, U.K.), to community arts work in care homes, schools and homeless shelters, to performances in theatre and non-theatre spaces (Soho Theatre/Trinity Laban and Brunel Tunnel Shaft, London). As an Associate Artist at Omnibus, Hester has performed and devised sell out performances for children ranging from ages 0-12. Most notably she directed an Arts Council England funded tour of a multi-sensory performance aiding language development for early years children, Colour.

Hester is also an Artistic Associate and Trainer with the world renowned David Glass Ensemble. With the company she has directed the first ever immersive performance for children in the South West of China, The Forest (Marphy’s Play House, Chengdu). She has also trained adults and children from across China in drama and creativity. In her next ventures she will be assisting David Glass on City Of Darkness; a new collaboration with Theatre Ash (Hong Kong), and with the international social art project, The AB Project. Hester trained in Theatre Making and Applied Theatre at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
